#PATA Travel Mart comes to #Bengaluru in Sept.'2015

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) will hold the 38th PATA Travel Mart 2015 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India on September 6-8, 2015 at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Center (BIEC). More than 1000 delegates from over 60 countries are likely to attend the three day event.

'It is a great opportunity for Karnataka to showcase its tourism attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, architectural monuments, and cultural heritage to a selective gathering of global audience. I am sure this event will bring Bengaluru on the global map of Travel and Tour Industry,' said RV Deshpande, Minister for Higher Education & Tourism Govt. of Karnataka. Karnataka Govt. will soon re-launch the air connectivity between Bengaluru and Mysuru. Air India has agreed to operate in this route, the minister told the media person attending the event. It may be noted that private air-craft operators withdrew their services in the Bengaluru-Mysuru route due to operational timings related issues few months ago.

"Besides the exhibition, we are planning many other exciting side events attached to the Mart for a weeklong celebration of travel and tourism in the region,” said Mario Hardy, CEO, PATA.
