35.000 Bangaloreans likely to visit #Germeny this year

According to German Consulate sources in Bangalore, 35.000 Bangaloreans are likely to visit Germany this year. During the first half of 2015 number of visa applications for Germany have risen by 20% over the same period of the previous year.


"The relations between  and South India/Karnataka are thriving. Growing visa numbers underline that trend. In the last three years Visa no. increased on average by 15% each year," said Consul General of Germany in Bangalore Mr. Joern Rohde.In 2014 the German Consulate issued more than 28000 Visa.
Germany is India's largest trading partner in the EU and one of the top 10 global trading partners.More than 1,600 Indo-German collaborations and around 600 Indo-German joint ventures are currently in operation.
