Former #Arunachal CM convicted in graft case

Former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister PK Thungon and three others has been convicted by a special court here in connection with a cheating and corruption case lodged by CBI 17 years back, after which they were taken into custody.The court will hear arguments on the quantum of sentence on July 27.


Thungon, then the minister of state for urban development and employment in the PV Narasimha Rao government, along with the other accused, was involved in misappropriating money meant for an irrigation project in Nagaland.
