La Trobe University has extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University (JSS) in Mysore, for another five years.
With the renewal of this MoU, La Trobe and JSS will work closely on a community research project to investigate the effects of herbs and spices on the cognitive function of patients with type two diabetes. Leading scientists from both universities will be involved in this project.
La Trobe University has contributed a $30,000 scholarship towards the project.
