Private hospitals' apathy kills seven-year-old boy, parents commit suicide

A seven-year-old boy died of suspected dengue after allegedly being denied admission by the private hospitals in South Delhi. His hapless parents committed suicide by jumping from a four-storeyed building following death the couple's only son, Avinash.


A show cause notice has been served to Moolchand Khairati Ram Hospital (Lajpat Nagar), Aakash Hospital (Malviya Nagar), Saket City Hospital, Max Hospital (Saket) and Irene Hospital (Kalkaji) for their alleged refusal to admit an emergency patient who later lost his life.
