Shangri-La opens its second luxury hotel in #Bengaluru India

Hong Kong-based  luxury hotel chain Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has opened 397-room Shangri-La Hotel in Bengaluru today.Located 30 minutes from the international airport, 19-storied Shangri-La Bengaluru is the largest hotel in the city with a room inventory of 397.It has eight Food & Beverage restaurants that can accommodate upto 900 guests with cuisines ranging from Global, Indian, Italian and Chinese, to Japanese, Spanish and Mediterranean.“Our diverse portfolio of accommodation, dining destinations and meeting space means we are perfectly positioned to set new standards and provide an elite urban lifestyle for our guests from the community and all over the world.” said Jens Corder, general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru.


Developed at an investment of Rs.600 crore (excluding land cost) by Adarsh Developers and managed by the Shangri-La Group, the hotel is Shangri-La Group’s second hotel in the country, 10 years after the launch of its first hotel in New Delhi.Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s premier hotel companies, currently owns and/or manages more than 90 hotels under the Shangri-La brand with a room inventory of over 38,000.


While the room rate starts at Rs.8,000 plus taxes, an opening offer of Rs.9,500 per room, including Rs.3,000 worth of credits in F&B outlets, airport transfers, Health Club & Spa will be on till the year-end.
