Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been launched at a price of Rs.5.17 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Bangalore). The car offers segment first Apple CarPlay, amongst other creature comforts. In terms of safety, the car features ABS with EBD and Dual-Front airbags as standard throughout all of its variants.Liquid Flow” design, plush roomy interiors and class-leading features are among the highlights of the new Baleno.Baleno will be sold through NEXA, the new chain of premium exclusive automotive retail outlets recently launched by Maruti Suzuki.And with this launch, it will add one more car to the NEXA arsenal alongside S-Cross which is bringing in decent numbers for the manufacturer.
Baleno comes with two engine options, both offering best-in-class fuel efficiency: the acclaimed DDiS 190 diesel engine (1.3 litre) with a fuel efficiency of 27.39 km/litre and the proven VVT Petrol (1.2 litre) with a fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/litre. Baleno also comes with a CVT option (Continuously Variable Transmission) in the petrol variant.
