Replying to a Right to Information (RTI) query, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis' Office revealed that Fadnavis had sanctioned Rs 8 lakh for sending a dance troupe to Bangkok.
The amount was spent from CM relief fund which is ideally meant to be used for the needy section of the society especially at a time when farmers in Maharashtra are distressed and committing suicides in drought-prone regions.The RTI plea was filed by RTI activist Anil Galgani.
