India's #ATV market hots up, #Polaris plans expansion,#Suzuki launches new models

Polaris, India’s leading all-terrain vehicle company is expanding its ‘Polaris Experience Zone’ (PEZ) offering across India. "We will not only provide the track design/layout for the PEZ, but also providing branding support for the PEZ, upon purchase of 3 vehicles for the zone. Execution of the civil work for the PEZ is the only responsibility which Polaris India leaves to the owner of the facility to carry out," said  Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. Currently 46 PEZ are in operation in India and the company wants to expand it to 200 in next few years.


Recently,Japanese manufacturer Suzuki's Indian arm Suzuki Motorcycle India forayed to the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) segment of India with the launch of two vehicles. The company launched Ozark 250, which is priced at Rs 5.45 lakh, and the Quadsport Z400 model, priced at Rs 8.5 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.The Suzuki ATVs will be pitted against the extensive line-up Polaris ATVs India. Since the ATVs are not road-legal in India, the vehicles are for private use only.
