A day after Punjab and Haryana High Court had asked the victims to come forward and file complaints directly with chief judicial magistrates, a three-member, all-women committee headed by DIG Rajshree Singh has started gathering information about victims of alleged sexual assault at Murthal in Sonipat district during the Jat quota stir. English-language newspaper The Tribune, has claimed that 10 women were sexually abused by goons on the National Highway-1 in Murthal at the time of the Jat stir.
