Inaugural run of the Sealdah–Ranaghat AC EMU local was flagged off by Sukanta Majumdar, Member of Parliament and Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Shantanu Thakur, Member of Parliament and Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Jagannath Sarkar, Member of Parliament, BJP RS MP Samik Bhattacharya at Sealdah station today (10.08.2025). General Manager/Eastern Railway, DRM/Sealdah and other dignitaries were also present in the occasion.
