Addressing the press conference, Mr. Kamal Sagar, Chairman Realty Expo and Treasurer of CREDAI-Karnataka, said “The Bangalore residential market has witnessed a revival in sales over the last two quarters. The demand has been driven by end-users buying properties in the price range of INR 3 million to INR 6 million.”
"Over the past few years CREDAI has emerged as a powerful voice for the real estate community across India . Recent studies indicate that real estate is a key driver for growth in the Indian economy and today CREDAI has a greater responsibility and role to play to promote the growth of this sector,” added Mr.Sushil Mantri-President of CREDAI-Karnataka.
CREDAI is the apex body for Real Estate Developers’ Associations from twenty two states from across the country.
When asked about what a home owner can expect from the expo, Mr. Sushil Mantri said, “CREDAI Realty Expo aims to provide a platform for both the builders and the customers to meet and interact under one roof. The expo showcases only residential projects without the clutter of other products so that only genuine buyers visit the show. Like in the previous years, one can expect to see the map of Bangalore with all locations which makes it easy for a person to understand all the options that he/she has.”
“Several developers who are launching new projects in Bangalore are looking forward to this event to showcase their properties. We will start a robust direct marketing campaign to reach out to the large spectrum of potential home owners” added Mr. Kamal Sagar on media plans.
When asked about the present market Mr. Sagar added “After the recent slowdown, the Bangalore property market is witnessing resurgence in demand, with a number of new projects being planned across segments and in various parts of the city. Hence the road ahead for the entire real estate industry looks quite positive”.
He further added, “Now the scenario is looking rosy. The silver lining is emerging. People have resumed their quest for new homes. More people are looking to stretch their hands as far as they can reach right now instead of foreseeing income rises in the future and huge percentage of them is from the non-IT sector. This has resulted in the resurgence of Affordable Homes in the bracket of Rs20 lakhs to Rs50 lakhs.
Mr. Mantri further added, “CREDAI will be playing a very crucial role in sustaining the positive momentum in the industry. Also we shall consistently strive to not only to match the past achievements, but also to broaden our scope of activity to take CREDAI forward prepared to face new challenges”
