In living up with its reputation as an institution which provides quality training and bridges the gap between the employers and potential employees, IndiaCan conducted this job fair with an objective of bringing together employers and candidates to a common platform and providing ample job opportunities. Aspiring students from in and around Bangalore thronged the venue and interacted with top companies like Sharekhan, Bajaj Capital, Control Parking System, CARE IT Solutions, Eureka Forbes, Khadims, Café Coffee Day, Linkedin, Andromeda BPO participating in the fair.
There were three different sessions which were conducted during the job fair. Firstly, a personality development session was conducted wherein highly trained personality development faculty took session to enhance the interview skills of the candidates. Similarly, an industry counseling session was conducted wherein the faculty facilitated interactive live sessions between companies and job seekers to explain the job profile and career options available to the candidates. Thirdly, a job interview session was conducted for candidates who have applied for jobs in IT, hardware & networking, finance, accounts, retail and sales sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. K. Ramakrishnan, Reigonal Manager-South, IndiaCan said “Through this job fair, IndiaCan offered a unique platform for the aspiring candidates to reach out to the best employers. This fair not only presented an opportunity for the young professionals to explore various avenues and growth prospects in the industry but also helped bridge the gap between employment and employability.
Subsequent to this job fair, IndiaCan is planning to conduct similar job fairs across other cities as it focuses not only on providing skill based training but also facilitating employment opportunities for students with top companies.
