Mr. V. Manickam, Ex- Managing Director and CEO of LIC Pension Fund took charge as the Secretary General of Life Insurance Council today. A qualified Chartered Accountant, having more than 29 years of service in Insurance & Pension Industry , has been appointed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, Hyderabad recently.
Mr S B Mathur, out-going Secretary General handed over the charge to Mr V Manickam today. Mr.V.Manickam started his career in LIC of India from Nagpur. He has worked in various places across India in various capacities notable being Executive Director Investments (M&A), Addl. ED Investments , Chief Investment, SDM Chennai I &II , DM Vellore division and Marketing Manager Rajamundry.
Mr.V. Manickam is known for his innovative style of functioning in Investments, Marketing and Administration of both Insurance & Pension industry.
