Vijaya Bank has paid the Dividend of Rs.182.17 crore to Government of India for the year ending 31st March 2012. Shri H S Upendra Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director has handed over the symbolic Dividend Payment Instrument to the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Shri P. Chidambaram on 1st August at New Delhi. Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Shri Namo Narain Meena, Shri D. K. Mittal, Secretary, and Shri V K Chopra, Dy. Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India were also present on the occasion alongwith Smt. Shubhalakshmi Panse and Shri K R Shenoy, Executive Directors of the Bank.
