The new Branch was inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji in the presence of Sri Sharad Sharma, Managing Director of State Bank of Mysore. The function was graced by host of dignitaries and devotees / pupils of Art of Living Centre.
The new Branch besides providing Banking facilities to the local population will also cater to the banking needs of the Ashram inmates and host of domestic/international visitors and devotees. The Branch is well equipped to provide host of Banking Services including foreign exchange / forex services.
Speaking on the occasion Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji gave his blessings and wishes on the eve of Maha Shivaratri to the Customers and large gathering of his devotees.
On the occasion the Bank also launched its new initiatives “MYBANK-MY POS” and “GREEN CHANNEL COUNTER-GCC”.
Under ‘MyBank-My POS’ – Point of Sale Machines are being provided by the Bank to the Merchant establishments which is backed by the power of nation-wide network of State Bank Group. It provides cashless sale of products by swiping Debit / Credit Card of the customer which also helps the merchant with increased sales.
Under ‘Green Channel Counter’, a Green Banking initiative, the Bank’s ATM-cum-Debit Card can be used by the customers at the branches for paperless banking for various banking transactions like cash deposit / withdrawal, fund transfers etc. without the use of paper pay-in-slips, withdrawal forms, cheque leaves or fund remittance / transfer forms.
The Bank has also provided Multi Functional Kiosk (MFK) facility for the benefit of customers. These kiosks can be used for viewing accounts, doing balance enquiry, booking railway tickets through IRCTC etc. Mobile Banking can also be registered at these Kiosks.
