Link 2 Services Ltd, an Auckland, New Zealand based Logistics Contracting Company with a turnover of US$ 5 million (INR 25 crore) started by Telugu Non-Resident Indian Indra Sirigiri now gets an International recognition in New  Zealand. In a function held recently in Sky City Convention Centre, Auckland City, Indian Newslink presented the Company with The Sixth Annual Newslink Business Award. While the company was the finalist in the ‘Best Large Business’ and ‘Business Excellence in Innovation’ categories, it's 28-year old Managing Director Rahul Sirigiri was awarded the ‘Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award.

Ten successful business people received awards for business excellence. About 800 people attended the award ceremony. The awards were provided in 13 categories covering a wide range of businesses.

Link 2 Services’ 27 years old Managing Director Rahul Sirigiri is recognized with ‘Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award. He was shortlisted after strict scrutiny of many applicants and nominated in the final three. Subsequently declared winner. His Highness Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, the Prince of Arcot (Chennai, India), his wife Princess Sayeeda Begum and several leaders of New Zealand including Minister for Economic Development Hon Stephen Joyce; Opposition leader David Cunliffe; Auckland Mayor Len Brown; and Deputy High Commissioner of India Mr. Sanjay Verma presented the award and graced the occasion

His Highness Nawab Mohammed Ali said he was proud to see the Indian community doing well in New Zealand.

Hon Steven Joyce appreciated the good relationships that exist between India and New Zealand and acknowledged the contributions from Indian communities in the economic development of the country.

Commenting immediately after receiving the award Rahul Sirigiri says it is a matter of pride being awarded. It is a rare honour for a Telugu NRI, he said.

Established in 1997 by Indian migrant Indra Sirigiri to New Zealand, it has been providing wide variety of contracting services to Logistics Industry for Warehousing, Recruitment, Storage/Disgtributioin, Cartage/Transport, Reworks(Offsite/Onsite), Labelling/Sticker application, Assembly/packaging, Recycling/Product and Sorting.  Before Link 2 Services began 13 years ago, companies companies had problems. Rahul was able to demonstrate that Link 2 Services could consistently deliver a professional service on a unit-cost basis.

Rahul who has been involved in business since his school days with time out for a University Degree, then rose to be the General Manager. Innovations introduced include a new business model which resulted in 50% growth, takeover of a competitor to secure market share as well as new staff allocation processes to provide a more flexible service to customer.
