"We managed to get all the volunteers inside the office in the nick of time. The attackers were hurling abuses, threw bricks at the office and attacked our members with sticks. They damaged the office and broke window panes," said a volunteer present at the office.
The Hindu Rakshak Sena claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement by its leader Vishnu Gupta.
