72nd Foundation Day of Oriental Bank Of Commerce
Oriental Bank Of Commerce celebrated its 72nd Foundation Day on 19th Feb 2014. From a humble beginning in 1943, the Bank has crossed Rs. 3, 00,000 crore business mark during the FY 2012-13 and has achieved many milestones during its journey.
On this momentous day, Bank held a series of CSR activities all over India wherein it distributed Wheel Chairs, Stretchers, Settees etc. to Public Health Centers and differently abled persons. Blood Donation camps, health check-up camps, eye-camps etc were also held pan-India.
Bank has network of more than 4000 delivery channels (2100 branches and 2005 ATMs). Bank’s local Regional Office, situated at Frazer Town, Bangalore is the controlling office for OBC’s 58 Branches in the States of Karnataka and Kerala. The Bangalore region headed by Shri Rakesh Sehgal, Deputy General Manager also distributed Wheel Chairs, Stretchers, Settees to Public Health Centers and differently abled persons at its Branches at Thrissur, Ramangaram and Vamanjoor. Besides a series of Health Check-up/Eye-Check-Up/Blood Donation Camps etc. were held at its various Branches in Mysore, Hubli, Mangalore and Bangalore.
Shri Rakesh Sehgal also inaugurated OBC- e-Lounge at Banks’ Branches at 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore and M.G. Road, Bangalore. These e-lounges shall provide one stop facility targeted at corporate, IT and business professionals depending on their needs. It offers Services of ATM, cash deposit kiosk, check deposit kiosk, coin vending, pass book update, internet banking terminal etc. under one roof, round the clock, 365 days.
