Milind Soman at Forum Mall as turns pinks to support Pinkathon
Forum Mall, Koramangala hosted the Pink Carnival which was the final promotional event to the Pinkathon Benglauru 2014. The carnival hosted everything pink to celebrate womanhood. Participants of the Pinkathon along with their families attended the carnival to not only pick up their running gear but to also show their support for the cause of fitness among women.
Pinkathon is an international all women’s run with the specific purpose of getting women to adopt to a fitter lifestyle for themselves and their families, and to highlight the need for increased awareness about breast cancer. So far, Pinkathon has taken this event to 4 cities across India and almost 12000 women have run for the cause. Moreover, Pinkathon has donated more than Rs 20 lakhs towards treatment of underprivileged women with cancer and has also facilitated, through our partners, free breast screenings to more than 15,000 women.
The Pink Carnival had on-spot registrations for shoppers who wanted to help support the cause and spread the word of fitness among women across the country. The carnival feel was further enhanced by a live dance performance and zumba sessions to promote the message of fitness and fun.
The event was a huge success and saw plenty of people participate to support the cause. The whole atmosphere was filled with fun and cheer. Fans were overjoyed to see the charming star Milind Soman at Forum Mall supporting the cause.
