AAP has extended its full support for the two TV journalists Shreyas and Shwetha of TV9 Kannada/English TV news channel who are facing criminal charges for their failed sting operation against Karnataka's controversial Congress leader and state energy minister D. K. Shivakumar. ‘We will do whatever is needed to support them in their fight against D. K. Shivakumar and state administration,’ said Arvind Kejriwal while addressing a public gathering at Freedom Park in Bangalore today. This stand taken by AAP leader Kejriwal is contrary to image projected by some media houses that Kejriwal would curtail press freedom if AAP comes into power.
