DISA Conducts Symposium on Clean Air Solutions for Pharmaceutical and Process Industries
DISA India Limited organised a unique symposium on “Clean Air Solutions for Pharmaceutical and Process Industries” in March 2014 at Hotel Sarovar Potico, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. With over 70 delegates from 43 companies attending, the symposium was extremely well received and educational for the attendees. The session was conducted by Mr. Joydip Ghosh, Vice President - Filters Business and Hosakote Operations, DISA India.

In addition to Mr. Joydip Ghosh, Mr. Mudit Bansal (DES sales, North) welcomed all the delegates, Mr. Rajasekhar Darisi took a technical session on Air Pollution Contro Technology and Solutions with emphasis on the needs of the Pharma and Process Industries and Mr. Roshan Kumar talked about DISA’s various product and solution offerings. The technical sessions were followed with an interactive networking dinner.

“I am very pleased with the turnout at our symposium as it is critical that the industry understands the importance of Clean Air Solutions. The fact that our symposium received such a great response in Baddi, goes to show that the industry stakeholders are keen on advancements and are looking for ways to garner the right information. We take pride in knowing that we are part of this great industry and that we look forward to conducting many more events such as these to trigger the overall development and set new benchmarks.” said Mr. Joydip Ghosh, Vice President - Filters Business and Hosakote Operations, DISA India

With decades of global experience and increased technological prowess, DISA is a leader in solving all air pollution related issues. The company’s efficient, European designed, state-of-the-art filtration systems ensure lower cost of ownership and hassle-free operation complying with governmental regulations. DISA’s decades of invaluable knowledge in foundry processes and allied metallurgical operations are a significant advantage.
Given the fact that Baddi is a small city in Himachal Pradesh having manufacturing facilities of more than 200 small and big Pharmaceutical companies, DISA thought it ideal to conduct its symposium in the vicinity.

Attendees at the symposium were very appreciative of the session and believed that it has benefitted the gathering immensely. The attendees included representatives from CIPLA, Panacea Biotec, Abbott, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and many more.
