SAP Labs India hosted its Annual Developer Kick off meeting - SAP d-code on the 13th and 14th of March in Bangalore.
SAP d-code is the newest conference in SAP’s event portfolio. It is an evolution of the SAP TechEd program and is designed with additional elements to attract external developers who are new to the SAP platform, as well as internal developers and the traditional SAP TechEd audience of IT Managers and Architects, Developers, System and Database Administrators, and Security and Business Intelligence professionals.
Bangalore’s 2 day-long event saw participation from over 4000 employees who attended sessions on 21 focus topics including in-memory computing (SAP HANA), Cloud, and SAP Fiori, among others.
The event also had customers of SAP delivering sessions which highlighted their success story using SAP, along with Venky Mysore, CEO-KKR delivering the Keynote.
Apart from Bangalore, SAP d-code is held in Palo Alto, Waldorf and Shangai.
Employees also participated in DemoJam - a competition encouraging them to come up with ideas and present a demo on stage. Over 100 ideas which used the power of SAP HANA were submitted such as real time image processing and fleet management, to name a few.
