Narayana Health City Bangalore today organized special cardiac and general health screening camp for Kannada television artists and technicians. The camp saw an attendance of over 200 artists from the television industry including actors, producers, directors and technicians.

According to the sources from Narayana Health City, “We believe that this health camp has special significance as it caters to artists who entertain and de-stress us on a daily basis. Their lifestyle tends to involve long working hours, extensive travelling with compromise on sleep, food etc, which could lead to underlying health problems such as hypertension, cardiac disease and digestive ailments.” The camp organizer from Narayana Health city further added, “Early and timely diagnosis of symptoms if treated right will have better results. We also believe that this camp will be a step ahead towards encouraging them to undergo health screening on a regular basis.”
Doctors at the camp also interacted with artists to educate them on easy ways to combat chronic ailments with healthy diet, regular exercise, de-stressing breathing techniques etc. All participants also underwent Random Blood Sugar test, ECG - Consultation and ECHO as per medical advice.
Narayana Health City Bangalore regularly organizes screening camps for people across Bangalore. Through such camps, the hospital encourages people to opt for preventive health check-ups and timey diagnosis.
