Aam Aadmi Party founder member Arvind Kejriwal (born 16 August 1968) has turned 47 years old today. Kejriwal, a social activist turned politician formed the the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2012. Aam Aadmi party contested elections for the first time on December 4, 2013 for the Delhi legislative assembly. Arvind Kejriwal contested against Sheila Dikshit, the three times Chief Minister of Delhi and won the elections. He was sworn in a Chief Minister of Delhi on 28th Dec 2013. His rule lasted only 49 days as he resigned from the post in Feb 2014. Later he contested against the BJP's Prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat but lost the election by a margin of close to 3 lakh votes.
