L&T will build 5,000 toilets as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. A.M. Naik, Group Executive Chairman, announced a major CSR initiative that would add traction to the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ programme recently launched by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Independence Day.L&T along with L&T Public Charitable Trust would build 2,000 toilets initially and gradually scale it up to 5,000 toilets.
