Shoppers Stop Ltd has informed BSE that Vipin Bhandari has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary Company Hypercity Retail (India) Ltd.
Bhandari joins HyperCity from Max Hypermarket where he was the Chief Operating Officer and a part of the founding team of the retail chain. He also played an instrumental role in establishing the leisure division for Landmark Group.
HyperCity Retail is part of the K Raheja Corp. Group which has helped create retail boom in India with Shoppers Stop, InOrbit Mall and Crossword, apart from its successes in realty and hospitality industries.
