Tony Abbott today announced India would join his New Colombo Plan from next year to build higher educational links between the two countries.Abbott has arrived in India for a two-day state visit.The New Colombo Plan would build on the already strong education links between Australia and India.India is Australia’s second largest source of international students.More than 30,000 Indian students were granted visas to study in Australia in 2013-14.Thursday, September 4, 2014
