69 sales employees China's Huawei Technologies were found to have been involved in corruption cases related to corporate sales rebates. Taking advantage of the loopholes in the Huawei’s system, that allows wide gaps in how much rebate can be offered to agents– or how much cash the agent will receive after sales, some agents have been caught attempting to bribe Huawei staff for bigger rebates. An internal probe has been ordered according to Chinese media reports.
Huawei is China’s largest telecommunication equipment manufacturer, producing devices such as mobile phones, network equipment and tablets. Last year’s total revenue reached 239 billion yuan.
