ShoreTel, a US-based unified communications solutions provider today announced the opening of its ShoreTel India office in Bangalore as part of its Asia Pacific expansion plan. The new office will provide sales, , research and development and global support services.
ShoreTel is headquartered in Sunnyvale, Calif., and has regional offices and partners worldwide. The company has hired 100 people in India including 80 engineers and 20 support staff for its expansion plans in the Asia Pacific region.
“As the company’s growth continues, we’re pleased to expand our investments in Asia Pacific with ShoreTel India,” said Don Joos, president and CEO of ShoreTel. “The engineering, sales and support teams will be working closely with their counterparts around the world, to enable us to continue to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers worldwide.”
