‘A strong Northeast is India’s asset’ is the theme of the conclave on Northeast at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi today. The conclave seeks to establish a powerful NETWORK of like-minded young leaders from Northeast, with a desire for better India of tomorrow and to strengthen the role of the people of Northeast towards building a vibrant economy, strong government, and common cultural identity with the rest of India. Timing of the conclave is significant as there have been reports of racial attacks in Delhi and Bangalore on people of northeastern origin.
