#Hackathon event at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in #Bangalore

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC), a subsidiary of the French banking and financial services company Societe Generale, successfully concluded its first Hackathon on 8 and 9 November. The event saw participation from BIT, MSRIT, PESIT, MIT, SIT, BMS, RVCE, SJCE, IIIT B, among others. The theme for the coding challenge was: Build an office without boundaries for the digital bank of tomorrow. At the end of the challenge, the best 3 apps were selected by a panel of judges from SG GSC. These innovative solutions were awarded a total prize money worth INR 5 lakhs.


Xavier Lofficial, CEO, SG GSC, remarked, “In our continuous effort to provide a creative atmosphere and foster innovation, Societe Generale Group has been leveraging Hackathons to bring out the creative best from participants and provide a platform to exchange ideas and forge partnerships.”
