West Bengal police has arrested the main accused in Burdwan blast, Sajid, a Bangladeshi national and chief commander of terror group Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Jessore Road, Dumdum in kolkata.National Investigation Agency (NIA) had announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head.He was arrested while receiving Rs.one lakh from a carrier in in Dumdum area.
Earlier National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday arrested Zia-ul-Haque, the key conspirator and a close associate of the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) commander Sajid who is considered to be the mastermind of the Burdwan blast case in West Bengal.
Two persons were killed in the accidental blast in a house at Khagragarh in Burdwan district while hand grenades were being manufactured there, leading to the unearthing of an international terror link to it.
