A unique photography exhibition at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, #Bengaluru

Darter Photography presents WANDERLUST – a photography exhibition on February 04 – 08, 2015 (Wednesday to Sunday) at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore. The exhibition showcases the photography work of participants on our 100+ photography tours to over 25 destinations across India and abroad over the past 4 years.

The exhibition was  inaugurated by Mr. I M Vittala Murthy, IAS (Retd.) on 4th February, 2015 (Wednesday) at 3:00PM. A carefully curated collection of over 80 photographs by 42 photographers showcasing the passion to travel to a myriad range of places – from the mountains of Ladakh and Bhutan to the deserts of Rajasthan and Kutch to the forests of the Western Ghats to the historic ruins of Hampi and Badami to the tigers of Central India to the mysteries of Myanmar – are on display at this exhibition.

In addition to showcasing the work of participants, WANDERLUST has a goal to encourage and motivate photographers to do impactful work. “Proceeds from photograph sales at the exhibition would be used to set up the Darter Photography Grant – a unique grant to fund any photography related projects that have a promising outcome but are short on resources to complete the endeavour’ said Shreeram MV, founder Darter photography. Invitation for proposals for the grant would be announced shortly after the exhibition is completed, based upon the proceeds from the sales.
