Taking suo motu cognizance of the death of a 13-year-old girl who was allegedly molested and then thrown out of the bus in Moga, the Punjab and Haryana high court on Thursday issued notice to the chief secretary Punjab, DGP and the owners of Orbit Aviation company.
The division bench of Justice Hemant Gupta and Justice Lisa Gil has also appointed advocate HC Arora and Rajvinder Singh Bains as amicus curie in the case to assist the court in the matter.The victim and her mother were allegedly pushed out a moving Orbit Aviation bus owned by the family of state chief minister Prakash Singh Badal.
