New 110cc #Hero Maestro Edge priced at Rs. 49,500 (Ex-showroom Delhi)

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two-wheeler maker, today launched the much-awaited Maestro Edge scooter in the country. Available in LX and VX trims, the Maestro Edge is priced in the range of Rs. 49,500 - Rs. 50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Maestro Edge will be launched across markets on October 13th with a starting price of Rs. 49,500 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the LX version and Rs. 50,700 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the VX version. The market launch of the Duet will follow thereafter.
The Hero Maestro Edge gets 12-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, new digital-analog metre console, redesigned head and tail-lamps, 3D emblem and few other exciting elements that make it looks more premium and sportier than the regular Maestro.


Japanese two wheeler maker Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India's Activa leads the top 10 selling two wheelers list for the third consecutive month in August 2015, according to sales data released by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).


The scooter, that recently crossed 1 million sales mark during the first five months of the current fiscal, sold 2, 17,819 units for the month of August 2015. However, it witnessed a fall of 3 percent when compared with sales of July 2015. Year-on-year sales increased 12 percent.


The mileage of the new Hero models stand highest in the 110 cc scooter segment, with the Hero Duet delivering 63.8 km/l and the Hero Maestro Edge claiming 65.8 km/l. The Yamaha Ray is the least
