#US media and entertainment industry bosses' want early expansion of 4G and TV digitisation in India

The US media CEOs representing 40% of the world’s entertainment industry want early expansion of 4G network and TV digitisation in India.




CEOs, who included News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch, Sony Entertainment’s Michael Lynton, and Discovery Communications’ David Zaslav,  21st Century Fox's Robert Thompson, CEO, News Corp; Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India; David Zaslav, President and CEO, Discovery Communications; Michael Lynton, CEO, Sony Entertainment; Michael Roth, CEO, Interpublic Group of Companies; Shane Smith, CEO, Vice Media; Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP; Jeff Bewkes, CEO, Time Warner; Nancy Dubuc, CEO, A&E Networks, Anthony Pratt, Chairman, Visy Industries; William Duhamel, Route One Investment Company; and Jeff Ubben, CEO, ValueAct Capital.They all met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday and called for speeding up of television digitization, and strengthening of the cellular (mobile) infrastructure.
