Minister of Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation & Parliamentary Affairs M Venkaiah Naidu recently inaugurated a 200 bed multispecialty Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Marathahalli, Bengaluru.Built with an investment of about Rs. 90 crores, this super specialty children’s hospital has Advanced Perinatal center.This Tertiary care Children’s Hospital houses Advanced Intensive Care Services for newly born and children dedicating almost 35% of the beds. These Intensive Care Services would cater for the city of Bengaluru also offer transport services up to 200 km radius of Bengaluru. The hospital has established all the sub specialties under one roof including Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Oncology, Endocrinology and Advanced Pediatric Surgery.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and Managing Director, Rainbow Group of Hospitals said Rainbow Children’s Hospital has emerged as the leading and most acclaimed children's hospital in the country with outstanding recognition and awards. The Hospital has 700 beds in six locations in Hyderabad, Vijaywada and Bengaluru.
