Scania has a current production capacity of 2500 trucks and 1000 buses, and aims to double its capacity by 2020, according to a press statement by Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt.Ltd.
The Swedish truck and bus maker showcased its premium mining tippers, the P 410 (8x4) coal body and P 410 (8x4) SSAB rock body, at EXCON 2015, the eighth edition of the International Construction Equipment and Technology Trade Fair in Bengaluru. Anders Grundströmer, Managing Director, Scania India and Senior Vice President, Scania Group,said:“Scania is bullish on the Indian market, especially the mining sector."
