Self-drive car rental demand grows with #Delhi's odd-even scheme

Self-drive car rental provider Zoomcar claims to be one of the beneficiry of the odd-even policy of the Delhi government.


'We have seen 100% growth in bookings during the odd-even experiment in Delhi so far', said Greg Moran, co-founder and CEO of Zoomcar.With the governments forcing citizens to opt for alternate means of transport self-drive rental cars with maching number for the specific day is one the preffred options for commuters of Delhi, Moran added. Today Zoomcar has launched its doorstep delivery service across all seven cities - Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Chandigarh - it currently operates.From now on Zoomcar users will be able to beckon a car a location of their choice and avail a pickup upon their return for a fee of Rs 300 on top of the charges for renting the car.  The company also plans to increase the number of cars available on its platform from current 2,000 to close to 15,000 and expand its services to Tier 2 cities.
