An elderly woman made the highest individual donation so far to the construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati. The woman, Muppavarapu Swarajyamma, a native of Neerukonda, in Mangalagiri mandal called on chief minister Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada camp office and handed over the check of Rs one crore.
