Kannada actress Maithriya Gowda shot into limelight when she claimed she and Karthik Gowda son of Union law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda married in an "unofficial ceremony." But later a family court in Bengalore declared the claims of Maithriya Gowda that Karthik Gowda, son of Union Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, had married her as null and void.Maithriya also failed to produce wedding registration certificate to regularise her wedding with Karthik. Hence, the court could not declare that she was married to Karthik Gowda.
