#Singapore celebrates 1 million #tourists arrival from #India in 2015

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) held  4 city (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai)  road shows with key industry partners to celebrate 1 million tourists arrival from India in 2015.


Mr. Chee Pey Chang, Executive Director, South Asia, Middle East &Africa - Singapore Tourism Board said, “India continues to remain in the top 5 markets in terms of visitor arrivals and this year, we welcomed the largest delegation of hotels, attractions, cruises and DMCs. We are excited to see the enormous participation from our trade and travel partners and we are grateful to them for making this roadshow an outstanding success. We continue to encourage first time visitors to Singapore, and also increase the re-visits from Indian tourists by promoting our new offerings and events. We are also targeting the (Free Individual Traveller) FITs with unique and exclusive offerings. We want to give our Indian friends a million more reasons to visit Singapore and the role of the travel trade will be an important one to keep this momentum going.”
