Hong Kong bookseller Lam Wing-kee has told reporters on Thursday that he believes the people who detained him at the Chinese mainland border reported directly to party headquarters.
The acting Chief Executive of HK John Tsang has said Mainland and overseas law enforcement agencies do not have the authority to enforce laws in Hong Kong, and they will contravene Hong Kong laws if they do so.Government has all along been dealing with matters relating to Hong Kong strictly in accordance with the principle of "one country, two systems" and the Basic Law, he added.
