The move came after Maharashtra special IG, Prabhat Kumar, instructed police commissioners across his state, through a circular, to take action when home-buyers filed complaints against errant builders. Ghaziabad Residents has also demanded police norms to register FIR against errant builders. The Federation of Apartment Owners' Association (FedAOA) of Ghaziabad has made this appeal through a letter.
