Bangalore city warms up to welcome 60 students from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal for the finals of Horlicks WizKids 2010, South Asia's biggest interschool literary and cultural carnival. The city finals of Horlicks Wizkids 2010 were held in 22 cities of 4 countries and witnessed participation from more than 200,000 students. Four winners from the South Asia finals will be titled the Horlicks Wizteam South Asia 2010 and will get an opportunity to go for an international student exchange programme.
As part of the finals, students would have a wholesome learning experience over a period of five days from 20-25 Nov, 2010 at the School of Ancient Wisdom , Devanhalli, Bangalore . . They engage in project presentations, developing communication skills, reasoning skills, cultural knowledge, physical fitness, inter personal skills, psycho socio development, talent presentation and several other areas that would form a part of their evaluation. There will also be cultural evenings and entertainment.
Participants will make a visit to ISCKON for an insight into Nation’s largest Mid Day Meal program on 23rd November. On the same day, a road show will be held by participants in the city to sensitize people about the growing concern on Carbon emissions and footprints.
