Hitachi Data Systems Ranks Number 1 in DQ-IDC survey on Storage Virtualization

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE: HIT), today announced that, it is the top of mind recall vendor for ‘Virtualization Storage Solutions’ according to a DQ-IDC Survey 2010* among CIOs on Data Centers and Storage Virtualization.


Dataquest in conjunction with IDC conducted a survey exclusively on virtualization. The survey took into account the views of 300 CIOs of various organizations and their take on virtualization. The survey findings included the fact that Virtualization as a technology is creating a lot of ripples in India and is indeed living up to its cost saving benefits for a lot of organizations.
