Yamaha to organize contest for its customers in Bangalore

In a bid to boost its customer relationship, India Yamaha Motor is organizing an exciting contest in association with its dealer Bangalore Wheels, Vijayanagar, at 51/A, Manuvanna, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. The name of the contest is ‘Chabi Ghumao Bike Le Jao’ and the entire event is based on the SZ Series bikes. The event will take place on 20th and 21st July, 2012.

The main attraction of the event is ‘Turn the key, win a Bike’ contest wherein the participants will have to pick one key from the 400 keys kept in a box and try to start the bike kept on display. If the chosen key could start the bike, the contestant would win an SZ bike. Apart from this contest, the dealer also organized free test rides as well as service camps for customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, National Business Head, India Yamaha Motor, said, “Yamaha has always been in the fore front when it comes to maintaining excellent customer relations. We conduct many activities throughout the year to engage our customers and the response received has been commendable. We’ve yet again come up with an initiative called the ‘Chabi Ghumao Bike Le Jao’ contest that is sure to awe our customers and we certainly hope to see more of our customers get lucky by winning the very stylish SZ bike. Bangalore is one of the key market for us and we would like to offer our discerning customers a sense of pride of ownership of Yamaha’s bike, and this initiative goes on to offer such an opportunity to them to win a spectacular SZ bike.”

Designed to reach out to a wider audience, Yamaha started ‘Chabi Ghumao Bike Le Jao’ in June this year. The events were organized in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Ranchi, Vadodara, Faridabad and Chennai and received overwhelming response from customers. A series of such contests will be organized across the country and it will be based completely on Yamaha’s flagship SZ series bikes. Through this initiative Yamaha hopes to reach out and widen its customer base.

With the aim of adding a new credo for the biking aficionados in India, Yamaha launched the SZ – a “Powerful and comfortable stylish commuter” bike series. The SZ series was launched in three variants - SZ, SZ-R and SZ-X, designed and engineered down to the finest details of the engine and chassis to answer each need with uncompromising quality and performance.
