In a sign of growing adoption for its cloud platform in the Indian market, Akamai announced it has crossed the 100 customers mark in the fast-growing Indian market. To meet the diverse needs of the growing customer base in India, Akamai also announced the opening of two new offices in Mumbai and Delhi.
Today, Akamai serves over 100 enterprises in India, helping them provide highly secure and accelerated user experiences across multiple devices and platforms. Akamai’s customers in India represent a microcosm of the Indian economy coming fromdifferent industries such as financial services, manufacturing, travel, e-commerce, media&entertainment and IT/ITES organizations.
