Bajaj Electricals the country’s leading consumer durable and lighting company, has launched India’s first revolutionary mixer grinder range with titanium coated blades, raising the bar in kitchen appliances innovation. The new titanium coated blades will be introduced in its new range of mixer grinders including Hurricane750 and Helix 750.
Bajaj’s Duracut blades are being introduced for the first time in the mixer grinder segment and will offer superior strength and long lasting sharpness. Titanium is considered as one of the strongest metals on earth. In relation, the titanium coated blades are twice as stronger as ordinary stainless steel blades available in the market, thus offering strength and longevity.
Commenting on the launch of Mixer-Grinder range with Duracut blades, Mr. P. S. Tandon, Executive Director, Consumer Products - Bajaj Electricals said, “It has always been our endeavor to raise the bar by introducing revolutionary products that are convenient to use, have superior build quality and are very durable. Titanium has been used in jet engines, space crafts and drilling tools and the use of this material for making an everyday use product like mixer grinder is a first in the industry. We are confident that our titanium based mixer grinder products will be a game changer in the market and will take the mixer grinder product category in India to a whole new level.”
Mr. Pradeep Patil, VP & Head - Sales & Marketing (Kitchen Appliances) - Bajaj Electricals, said, “Our internal research showed that the customers were not satisfied with the existing quality of blades available in the market. These blades were seen to lose their sharpness within a short span of time. We used these insights to improve the quality of our products and came up with the concept of titanium coated Duracut blades that have durability and long lasting sharpness. South being the priority markets for Bajaj Mixer Grinders, our new range with Duracut blades is being launched at Karnataka, followed by other states in south and gradually to rest of India. The range will be priced between INR 3000 and INR 4000 and come with a 2 year guarantee on the product and 5 Year warranty on the motor.”
